BEB Overview

BEB (British Education Bureau) was established in Oxford in 2002, to assist Turkish students looking to study in the UK. BEB’s founder, Sevda Oncel Budd, had just completed her Master’s Degree in Oxford, and supported by UK universities launched BEB. Offices were quickly established in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.

BEB is unique in that it is funded entirely by UK universities and colleges. This places considerable responsibility on BEB to meet the highest standards of professional responsibility and integrity, naturally expected by such significant partners.

This highly trusted status that BEB holds is of great reassurance to students and their families, who can be assured that their financial commitment to a world class education is in safe hands.

BEB are the official representative/partner to over 90 UK universities, but make placements to all UK universities including Oxford and Cambridge.

Since 2002 BEB has advised, supported and placed thousands of Turkish students at UK universities, colleges and private high schools. There are close to 1,000 Turkish students currently studying at UK universities on foundation, bachelors, masters and PhD courses. This makes BEB the most important organization for Turkish students considering UK degree level study opportunities.

BEB has a management team that comprises both Turkish and British directors. Moreover, it is now part of the BEB Group Ltd, which invests in education businesses that include student recruitment, marketing, publishing, education fairs, accommodation and management consultancy
